Evergreen LLC: $400,000 reported on a single campaign, fifteen more since
$400,000
client-reported gross profit from a single 16,150-card campaign, one of sixteen this client has run. The other fifteen are why the total card count keeps climbing.
The setup
- Evergreen LLC is a family real estate operation mailing Montana owners: older, rural, and deeply distrustful of corporations. Their mailbox strategy is simple: never look like one.
- The biggest single campaign in our tracked set is theirs: 16,150 handwritten cards, 506 calls, 102 net leads, 3 contracts, 2 closed.
- They started in May 2024 and have run 16 campaigns since: 91,289 cards over 27 months, still mailing today. Every number below is client-reported.

What happened
Two closed deals produced the reported four hundred thousand dollars, which is why we say deal size decides mail economics more than response rate does. At 3.13%, the response ran several times the printed-mail norm, and the 102 net leads gave them a pipeline that outlived the campaign.
The founder's first-campaign words, on camera: a 3% response rate, gross profit six times the marketing spend, and conversations rather than mere leads. Unprompted, he later posted to a 401-member investor group that his first week of calls put a deal under contract worth ten times the mail spend.
The four hundred thousand is one campaign, not a total. This client reports results per campaign, and the other fifteen are their business, so we publish the number we hold and let the behavior say the rest: nobody mails 91,289 cards over twenty-seven months unless the campaigns keep paying for the next one.
Four hundred thousand reported dollars on one campaign of sixteen. The other fifteen bought more mail, which tells you what they returned.
These are real customer-reported numbers from tracked campaign records. One campaign on one list is one campaign: your list and your market decide your results, and nobody honest promises a rate before seeing either.
